Dear everyone,

I've decided to close Wonderful Dakota. The main reason is that I'm not a huge fan anymore as I used to be. I will always love and support Dakota no matter what. I will always be her fan no matter what. I loved working on the site, but when there's a new update I have to update it because of the update, not because I like it anymore. The 2nd reason is time.....I have my work, my friends, my house, everything. There's not enough time :-) I runned this website for almost 6 years (on my own!) with lots of love! I build it up with lots of love. Now it's time for other things in my life, other goals. Don't ask me to take it over, because it's something I did, I made...I am proud of myself I did everything on my own and that's something to look back at with a smile :-) And the 3rd thing is the financial part. Always paid everything by myself without asking donations from you guys. Can't afford that anymore....

I want to thank EVERYONE who have helped me in all those years! For the layouts, donating pictures, EVERYTHING! So again: thank you, god bless you!!! I want to thank Dakota for 6 wonderful years! Will always follow your career no matter what. Love you and your sister with all my heart and that won't change.
The contract with the host will end in February so this site will still be wacthing till then.... but no updates anymore. You can always contact me on the e-mail wonderfuldakota@hotmail.com. Or you can see me on the ES message board sometimes :-) Take care everyone, may all your dreams come true! Hope you won't judge me for doing this. It was a huge step to take but the right step.

Dakota helped 35 teenage cancer patients and survivors pick their favorite clothes for the hospital’s annual prom at Children's Hospital of Orange County last May.
She has also been confirmed as the face of Marc Jacob’s new scent, Oh, Lola! I've added 2 gorgeous photoshoot pics in the gallery taken by Juergen Teller so make sure to check them out!
Dakota celebrated her high school graduation at the Disney Concert hall in downtown Los Angeles last week. Congrats Dakota!

Sorrrrry guys for the very late update! I had to work a lot and I went on vacation! But now we have a nice update so here it is:

First of all great news! 2 more movies for Dakota! :-)
She will star in Very Good Girls that will be directed by Naomi Foner, who wrote the script. The film follows two teenage girls through a summer spent in New York City. After they graduate high school, each becomes determined to lose her virginity, and things get complicated when they fall for the same charismatic street artist.
Dakota will also play the lead roll in Before I Die (not 100% confirmed yet). It's about 16-year-old girl dying of leukemia, describing her every experience and emotion and pain as she slowly makes her way toward a death she knows is coming.

Dakota attended the 2010 BAFTA Britannia Awards in Century City November 4. She looked lovely in her floor length Valentino gown. Dakota teamed up with Academy Award nominee Carey Mulligan to present The Twilight Saga: New Moon costar Michael Sheen with the British Artist of the Year award.

Dakota attended the 'Miu Miu' Paris Fashion Week show last Wednesday. She wore a Miu Miu geranium pink leather scalloped trim strapless belted dress with metal bow accents, pale pink cashmere cardigan, and purple suede platform pumps.

Dakota was spotted outside her exercise class in Studio City October 2nd. And she was making her way through LAX Airport in Los Angeles, CA the day after. She looked stylish in a leopard print jacket as she and her mother took the escalators towards their departure gate prior to takeoff:

Despite battling some of the most serious of childhood diseases, the children at the Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA are in high spirits as they take to the crayons to draw holiday images. Christmas trees, stars, menorahs, snowmen and more come to life in the Child Life playroom. A handful will be chosen to be made into holiday cards, sales of which will directly benefit the lives of other children in the program.

Art has the power to heal, transporting some children to magical places, forgetting about the hospital. The Holiday Card Art Program strives to create opportunities for "kids to be kids" during an abnormal situation.

Dakota attended the red carpet premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in Los Angeles, California on yesterday evening. Held at the Nokia Theatre LA Live, the movie's big names all turned up as Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz joined in on the fun. Of the crazy fanbase, Dakota told press:

'It's really exciting. I don't think I'll ever be part of something like this for the rest of my life. It's really kind of surreal.'

I've added some great The Today Show pictures in the gallery. And Dakota was spotted arriving at LAX Airport Tuesday afternoon. She signed numerous autographs for fans and took photos.

Later that day she stepped out in New York City and she was joyfully strolled around Rockefeller Center, looking cute with some bright pink lipstick.

Dakota attended the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in NYC on Monday evening. She wore a Marchesa dress, Brian Atwood heels, rings by Loree Rodkin and a Jennifer Behr headpiece. During the ceremony, Dakota presented the award for Accessory Designer of the Year to Alexis Bittar. And check out the new Eclipse promotional still!

Dakota hosted the 11th Annual 5K Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA Benefit last Sunday.
(She is a regular volunteer at the hospital) Dakota gave a speech in the opening ceremony, signed autographs and posed for pictures. And a new beautiful Eclipse poster is out now including Dakota!
